Purpose:
The overall purpose of this client project was to create a logo that could be used on a business card and website after marketing and business goals evaluation.
Target Audience:
The target audience for this business card and logo is adults ages 25 to 50 who want to invest in a pontoon or tritoon. They have not owned it before and want to learn what is the best option for their needs and wants with advice and informative information from a pontoon/ tritoon owner.
Software Used:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop
Hardware Used:
Lenovo IdeaPad3, Logitech Wireless Mouse
Process:
Before the logo was created, a phone call was had to discuss what they wanted to achieve from having a logo. They wanted a logo that could be used on the current business card and the company website.

With an idea for the logo established, research was conducted on different boat manufacturer websites, boat-selling companies, and other boat consultation companies.

Once the research was concluded, the first logo option was built in Adobe Illustrator. This first logo version was placed in an Adobe InDesign file for reference and three more logo variations were created. A silhouette of a pontoon boat was used to represent the expertise of the business owner's expertise.

After four logos had been established, the logos were applied to the business card in Adobe InDesign and utilized a similar banner layout used on the current business card. These four options were emailed to the client and feedback was received with the option they liked the most. From here, a mockup of the card was created in Adobe Photoshop.
Problem Solving:
A challenge arose when it came to creating the banner for the business card. The reference image was worn, and the first banner was crooked and not aligned. This issue was solved by constructing the banner shape from scratch utilizing the shape tool instead of the line tool.
